There are two options through which you can change your details.1.Online method and 2.Offline method.By visiting the Aadhar website you can update you details in online method by following couple of steps.In offline method you can send the corrected details to UIDAI enrolment centres across the country using the postal service.

By using the mobile number registered at the time of registration of Aadhar Card you can correct any information online by following the below steps.
1.First logon to the Aadhar self service portal(SSUP) at https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/update
2.Aadhar Card number should be entered in the field.
3.Enter the Text Verification Number and ‘Generate OTP’ should be clicked.
4.OTP will be sent to the mobile number and you can use this to login to your Aadhar account.This is for authentication purpose to ensure that aadhar Card details are not being manipulated.
5.You will be redirected to ‘Data Update Request’ page,where you must indicate what data is incorrect on the card and how you want to update the data.You have to be careful while entering the data in this section since they will be updated in the Aadhar Card later on. Here you will be asked to fill the contact details and personal details which should be filled in accurately.
6.After this the next section is ‘Documents Required’ section where you have to upload an Official copy of a Recognized document that validates the required change. eg:If you name has any corrections and middle name is entered as first name then you have to submit copy of some ID proof that validates your real name.
7.After this you will go to another section called “BPO Service Provider Selection” section where you have to choose the BPO service provider. Choose either Aegis or Karvy and press Submit button.
8.Once the request has been submitted you can download the copy of update verification.

Remember some points while Updating Aadhar
As like the application form even the correction request will also be rejected if the information in the form is not correct.If your correction request is rejected
